So I did not kill an elk in regular season, on to Plan "y" USC, anyone else who drew want to compare notes by PM? I hunted it a couple of years ago. Paul

 For solo hunters maybe just a safety thing checking in with each other at the end of the day. I never use to have that concern, but now that I have 'made it" (in I my opinion) the thought comes up.  I know, I know if I wanted to be safe I would have joined the Air Force. Hey, don't get bent out of shape it is only a joke

I hiked off about 10 miles today in Smith creek.   It's big country.  Easy to get hurt.
