New La sportiva karakorums showed up yesterday.  Have a pair of Lasportiva trango cube gtx showing up Tuesday. Boot arsenal is on point this year.  Really interested to see how the trango fit and function.  Anyone have experience with them?

I've had the Karakorum for probably 8 or 9 years now. Great pair of boots. They took a while to break in the heel, but they've been rock solid since. They climb well, support the heavy load on your back, etc. In the past, they've been a bit more roomy than the Trango styles as they are more of a "trekking" boot than a "climbing" boot.
not my first pair of karakorums but the trango will be new.  I dont have an overly wide foot so they should fit well....hopefully lol

It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

i'm on my second pair of meindl's, and they have been a great boot. insulated 400, first pair lasted me five years and that was scouting, bear dear elk and bird hunting, lot of miles looking for sheds, stayed water proof the whole time until they completely blew out. I have had buddies that have ran kennetrek and swear by em. I got the chance to hunt deer and elk in montana this past year with a decorated special forces soldier and asked him how he liked his kennetreks and he said hes hiked mountains all over the world in all kinds of crazy terrain and he told me kennetreks are by far and away the best boot he has worn.
