Winchester SXP Mag Follower

The magazine follower broke in my SXP, I was hoping to remove the follower. However, the mag tube has a crimped end. I am assuming I need to completely break the follower to remove it. Anyone have any issues with this gun? Pretty sure it was a result from the recoil of 3.5" turkey loads.
