I have a Deer tag for archery. Can I use it during modern, hunting with a bow? I know it says you can use a lesser weapon, but do I need my tag to be specifically for Modern in order for that to be applicable?

Have to have a modern or multi tag to hunt during the modern season dates no matter what weapon you are hunting with during the modern season

Nope.

You can use a bow during modern but an archery tag is an archery tag.

I had an archery tag as well... I went to dicks and bought a multi season tag a couple days ago. They still have some leftovers
