If you're willing to deal with the extra length, weight and expense of a suppressor, they're not a bad option.
I would expect to see a noticeable change in how the gun shoots with a suppressor mounted on such a light profile barrel. It may not shoot worse, but I'd be very surprised if it shot the same load with the same accuracy with and without the suppressor.
The weight of a suppressor is probably going to add at least 9-10oz to the gun. Why buy a light weight gun, then add more weight to it?
Adding an extra 7-9" to a 24" barrel makes for a very long rifle. I'm a bit biased here just because I prefer 20-22" barrels and consider 24' a long barrel on a hunting gun.
For the cost of a suppressor, you could buy some very nice electronic hearing protection and an awful lot of batteries. That would help solve the noise problem
Suppressors are pretty fun and they're great for some applications, but I have a lot of other projects I could get started for $1000.
