Gawd, I Love seeing big blackies, in the field, hanging in the shop or hanging on the wall, does not matter, bigger the better, no matter who gets them.

some people would call it a bench leg but it was definitely a blacktail.  Small ears big black tail. shot in 578 so according to the state of washington it is a blacktail.

It is a benchleg.  Just because it has short ears and a bushy black tail doesn't hide the fact that it has other mulie characteristics.  If you shoot a buck within 20 or so miles West of the Cascades, it probably has some mule deer in it.  West Klickitat is definitely one of those units where the genetics are blended.

This one is from unit 588 when it was considered a westside unit !! does that count ??
