Looking for the right cup

I'm tired of spilling my coffee while driving. I've used a Stanley thermos most of my life. Not the best cup to drink out of while driving. I've bought paper cups with the plastic lids. I've bought mugs with lids and wide bases. Recently I've been eyeballing these Yeti cups that look heavy and spill proof. Maybe I'm just old, but I have a hard time believing these are worth 30 dollars. Any opinions?

Contigo coffee mugs are the best I have used. You can pick up a 2 pack at Costco occasionally for a good price

You can find these cheaper. I'm hard on my mugs - ran one over with a forklift, another time on a skidsteer. Still worked. I also waterfowl hunt a lot and have one with me always. That's why I like these - lot of extremely cold weather for long periods of time. These hold heat the best and have never leaked on me. I've had the one mentioned before - they're good. But these are better.

Thanks. I saw some Stanley thermos mugs when I was out shopping. I just cant believe how expensive a decent cup is. I guess it's time to just pay.

I have one and they work just fine. Keeps my water cold or my tea hot

I have been using these for a number of years. No complaints, and durable as all get out. Costco had them as a two pack for awhile, not sure if they still do? Anyhow- I am a hot coffee all day kind of guy.

When I was mentoring a young man in archery, his parents gave me a Starbucks stainless mug and I've been using it for 6 years. I don't take it to starbucks because I make way better coffee and cheaper, too. The cup keeps it hot for hours.

When I was mentoring a young man in archery, his parents gave me a Starbucks stainless mug and I've been using it for 6 years. I don't take it to starbucks because I make way better coffee and cheaper, too. The cup keeps it hot for hours.

I got a bunch of different sizes of tumblers on sale before Starbucks turned.  They are the best, and the lids closes off the sippy hole well, so you can toss it aside with a bit of coffee still in it and no leakage or spills.

I also use a Stanley, more mug shaped, and it works about as well.

Both will keep coffee warm most of the day, in moderate temperatures.
