No buck down but that’s ok
« on: November 18, 2018, 08:29:59 PM »
Only had 2 days to hunt late buck. Saw a few deer but no shooters. Took my 5 year old along for the journey. He’s been camping with me since he was 2 but this was the first year he willingly wanted to come along for the hunt. Had a great time and memories I won’t soon forget. He’s a trooper. Logged 8 miles in some tough country today. Excited for what his hunting future holds

Nice job getting him out there Dad!

Cant replace getting out with dad. Some of my best memories were with my dad at that age and the ones getting my son out with me

Thanks for getting a young hunter out there

JWEBB...treat them right and they will always want to go. In the not so distant future they become even more than just a companion...they become helpful.  Mine are 14 and 16 now. They are great pack mules :) and will gladly trade a day at school for hauling hay and corn for their old dad.

In addition to being great helpers, they are a LOT of fun to hang out with at that age.
