I’ve been contemplating putting together a book of the best bucks I’ve photographed throughout the years.  I started experimenting with cost etc for what I wanted to do.  I’m not sure if I could do it for a reasonable price or if there would be interest.  It’s a lot of work.

They should start showing up.  I’m excited to hear what folks think of this years edition, and for the First timers what they think of this beast of a calendar.

Interest, absolutely!!!
Cost of a final hardcopy in the $25-$50 range I think would be doable for sure. I imagine it being a largish hard cover coffee table style book?

Basically what I had in mind.  Lulu is so damn expensive though for publishing. I might go an alternate route.

So, now that calendars are rolling in, I have an honest question.   Do you think February is the biggest typical I’ve posted pics of?   I was t completely satisfied with using that photo in the cal.  It was late evening, the sun just going down and the buck was further away than usual.(meaning I had to do some cropping).  I had to have him in the calendar though.   I certainly cut better photos of not so better deer.   I spent several days trying to find him again, but it didn’t work out.

I did realize or confirm I filmed him 2 years ago.   I was contemplating using that photo as this years Christmas card, so you’ll no doubt see it.

I’m basically comparing him against “ole claw”.  He was Mr June this year.

I feel this buck is bigger.  I enlisted the help of two other gurus to give me their opinion.   I haven’t heard from either, so......
