How to identify a bunch of identical ARs?
« on: November 26, 2018, 09:19:57 PM »
My wife, my kids and their spouses (total of 8) will all have the same AR come Christmas time.

They're plain vanilla - mostly not modified.

How can I easily mark them so we know who's is who's?

Get some nail polish and fill in the letters or number on the receiver give each person a different color . It looks cool too .

Different colors of electrical tape around the bottom of the hand grip. That’s how I mark the 300 blackout from the 556 so I won’t accidentally use the wrong ammo. :twocents:

I'm not sure what you got, that would dictate what bling you could put on.

I seen in another thread you might have went with DPMS oracle's??

That lower is pretty much a blank canvas,  have them engraved?

strip them down and have everyone cerakote their own lowers?

engrave AND cerakote?

Charging handles. You Can buy different colors. I use red for my 300 black out. So at a glance I can tell them apart.

Do that, super easy. as far as lasting as long as you don't blast it every time with cleaner it will last a while.

I use a strip of colored duck tape to indicate caliber on the base of each magazine. I know at a quick glance which is which.

I had a PETA "Meat is Murder" sticker on the stock of my first big game rifle.  Created a lot of enjoyment for other hunters over the years.  When I sold it, the sticker sealed the deal for the buyer!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
