AR build = card fraud
« on: December 03, 2018, 05:51:41 PM »
Not bashing, just wanted to alert anyone using these vendors to check your accounts. Ballistic Advantage, Km tactical (amazon), Buffalo gap outfitters (amazon), Odin works, Bear creek arsenal, Granite ridge outfitters, stngr usa, Toms tactical. They charged over 600.00 to a sight in Poland. This was a debit card only being used for this build. :bash:

I have done plenty of business with Bear Creek over a number of years, never an issue, doubt it was them.  Rest of them who knows.

A word of advice, never use your debit card to buy anything. Get a credit card or American Express card and buy everything with that (of course paying the bill in full every month). That way if they hack your card they are stealing someone else's money and can't touch your bank account.

Sorry that happened.

I doubt it's the actual websites though. There's a pretty good chance that it's a security issue with whoever is handling their credit/debit card payments. I tried Stripe and Square for online payment processing on my website and both accounts had security issues within the first month. I know that PayPal isn't very popular in the shooting community, but it's still one of the most secure payment processors in my experience.

I thought that PayPal was anti 2A. I recently made a contribution to the NRA. One of the options for payment was PayPal. I used it. I have used them for years and feel like it is very secure.

Not yet Pete, probably a couple weeks. The moose Dusty brought to camp was excellent.
