If I was a betting man, I would say he's saving it for the fur trade and not for the table.

Steven Rinella of the MeatEater Group posted a video of bbq coyote on YouTube. If I recall he said it tasted the same way they smell

Bagged and in the freezer, someone else can deal with it.  Course I could add it to the mix of tag stew, but I hope times don't get that tough.

I've tried coyote grilled a couple of times....it's good.
