To answer your first question, nope. Really there aren't enough birds in Yakima Co. to warrant your time and effort in my opinion, especially if you are brand new to it. As far as scouting goes, start with a map. Pick a drainage with water that may be at the elevation turkeys are at in the spring. Go there before light, listen for gobbles on the roost, then look for sign. A lot of trial and error. I hunted Yakima Co. in high school during WASL week when I could hunt for a few hours before school, but that was it. Does that help at all?
