He did, he'll pick up a Walleye with all the sharp points and teeth without thinking about it but I had to put the burbot on a stringer for the picture.  They're a strange looking, bad smelling and great tasting fish.

fight wise,like a catfish. I haven't eaten them yet,but everyone says they are great tasting

They are in the Cod family, BTW no relation to ocean Lingcod.

Poor man's lobster, skin it like a catfish gut it and steak it out in 1" steaks or leave it whole, boil until opaque or 155 degrees  and dunk in clarified butter preferably Amish rolled butter. Texture and flavor is like lobster. Prefer it over Red Lobster !!
