Sad loss for the hunting community. Loved watching Dwight & Larry's elk hunting videos. What a pioneer & inspiration to many. To a life well lived!! RIP!  :archery_smiley: Prayers!

An incredible outdoor writer with great ethics.  His legacy lives on in his writing and other media products.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I remember when I was a boy I read about him in a church publication where someone interviewed him.  He has been one of my hunting hero's ever since.
