Got my card!
« on: February 23, 2019, 09:46:39 AM »
That was fast. Took the test Tuesday in Spokane, got the congrats and trappers card letter yesterday from Olympia. Buying my license today. My trap is in the mail so I bought some 1x2 wire panel stuff from my brother in-laws feed store and hopefully can get a trap welded up Monday. The trap says it’ll be here MID MARCH(seems far away but I guess it’s not really) I’ve got 3 different spots picked out and I’m only going for a bobcat before seasons up. I’ll post up some photos of the build. Any tips or advice is always appreciated.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short.

Amen

Get out and put up some pre baits out ! Hang the bait at least 6’ up a tree that way the coyotes don’t get it . Where the baits are hit is where you place a cage
Good luck

What to use for bait? Besides beaver.

Welcome to the United States!  Wait, different card  8). Good luck with your trapping adventures. Caught a nice bobcat on trail cam on my property last nite, maybe 100 yards from my house 😁
