I was trying to replace the battery for my red dot, and got mixed up and turned one of the adjustment screws instead lol, feel like an idiot.

I've done it twice, one full revolution each time.  Fortunately, both were a miss on a doe that I was able to recover from.  I finally marked zero with a white line.

A scope with zero-stop helps, but still isn't fool proof.
