For the most part I'd agree, I feel like I got lucky on mine. Received it as a college graduation gift from my parents since I couldn't afford to mount it at the time. They snatched it out of my freezer when they came to visit earlier in the year, along with a grouse I was saving to mount with it someday. 

Looks great! In my opinion rugged or tanned is the only way to display a bobcat. Never seen a mount that looked good.

We saw that at Rick's when we stopped in to check on the wife's bobcat. Looks great, love the head,made us rethink our decision a little.

That was my dream mount, but I’m old enough now to realize my kids don’t want them so I don’t mount them. But I do have the bobcat pelt tanned.🤣
