Montana BLM land ?

Can anyone explain the Montana BLM land that you can hunt? I’ve been trying to research it a bit and not coming up with much.. as I understand it, it is private land that you are allowed to hunt and some of it is “register to hunt” private land? Super confused. Anyone know where I can find all the info about it and where to locate the register to hunt BLM lands? Thanks so much!

you're thinking of block management. BLM is Burough of Land Management and is federal land therefore public land and for the most part open to hunt on.
