I'd say Montana. It's a bigger state, and has more of a variety of terrain to hunt. More easier terrain, which might be a very good thing as you get older.
In all honesty between the two it really comes down to what (or if) you have to do for a living. If you have to rely on a population center for your living your probably coming to Idaho and sw Idaho at that. If not there’s a lot more space in Montana. Personally though, if all were equal and my salary wasn’t related to being where I am. I’d already be in WyomingDang I knew somebody was going to say that and it just messes me up because I havent researched WY and I'm sure I will be missing something for sure
Idaho was awesome when I moved down here 10 years ago, not anymore. Population is skyrocketing, ada/canyon county alone were averaging about 4000 California to Idaho drivers license changes per month over the past year, I’m sure the Coeur d’Alene area was probably about the same. People are flooding into this state and it’s not going to improve Idaho over the long term. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Zero possibility that I wouldn't land in Alaska long enough to hammer out everything they have up there
