Quincy Lakes ice fishing?

Rare year of good solid ice for Quincy lakes opener.  Anyone know if the gates are open?  Anybody have experience ice-fishing these lakes?  I was thinking of driving over this weekend and trying Stan Coffin for spiny rays and/or Burke/Quincy for trout.  Any info much appreciated!

I think they are supposed to have the Quincy Valley Chamber of Commerce fishing derby this weekend.  :o
