Another vote for the Outdoor Research Voodoo pants. Picked up a pair last year to use as a hunting pant, but they are so damn comfortable that I wear them for work also. Lighter weight than the Prana Zion and a little cooler when the weather gets hot.

Due to comments on the EB Pro pants and a $10 rewards I had, I picked up a set during the prior sale. Spent this weekend in them and I might be liking these over my Prana's?? They do feel about a half size big, but convinced me to pick up another set at current sale. Thanks for the referrals.

I like the Prana’s too. It’s either those or my Kuiu attacks.. I have a pair of Sitka Ascent pants that are super comfy too..

I bought a couple pairs of the Wrangler cargo pants. They are 98% cotton so I wont be hunting in them, but they are some of the most comfortable pants I own. And I got them on sale for $11.99 a pair at Walmart. Fantastic work in the yard or just casual pants.

You guys wear pants when hunting or hiking?
I usually wear pants when doing pretty much anything....

Dude, there are so many opportunities to NOT wear pants! Most are worth every second.....hot showers? Crashing out in ones bag after an all day march...just having fun with this having just dropped in :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Sitting fireside in my favorite, all-around hiking, hunting, working out, year-round golfing (Wetside) Costco $17/pair pants. (Hoping 5 pairs  will last me)  I’m sure the pranas & EB’s are solid performers, but I’ve worked had to destroy these (at times) and the worse I’ve done is let a burning ember burn a hole in one of the legs....
Love these pants and I’ve seen a few potential replacements over the past year..

Unionbay makes a pair of pants that sells at Costco. Olive, Tan and stone, water repellent is great, comfortable fit, tear resistant. Bought a pair for North idaho summer hiking and was so impressed went back and picked up another 5 pair. Wore them and my usual base layer on an October Rifle hunt high in the snow. Super impressed with them. At 19$ a pair, the marketers of anything more expensive can pound sand.  :chuckle:
This is what i use year around, have had same 5 pairs diff. colors for 3 years and none are worn out yet.
