Whether it's labs or pigeons or cows or whatever, quality animals cost money if you're looking to buy them. I'm almost afraid to mention I've seen show rabbits sell for $2500.00 before.

Good golly!  Imagine mistaking those for eating eggs!  That'd be one hell of an omlette! :yike: :yike:

That is no lie! I have rows of pens and birds and on more than one occasion I have had predators pass through the outer pens to get to the expensive ones. Same in above ground pens.....they just know!

A grand-sire to one of my kid's fancy show rabbits sold at auction for $1150.00
It's crazy what some people will pay for quality animals, but after being involved with these animals a little bit, I get it. Sort of.
