No sir, not when hunting.  I've carried some ultra-lite blow up pillow thingamajigs for long sits/glassing tho.

For coyote hunting??? I sit on my butt and use shooting sticks. A wet cold butt aint no fun. I used to bring a little chunk of foam to sit on. last few years I've been bringing the pad that goes on the seat of my hang on tree stand. I've used the floor mat out of my truck in a pinch too.

Yes we've used them in blinds.
They're light and comfortable

Helinox chairs are money if your glassing lots. Not great for every situation but they are super light and take up very little space.

It's not a camp style chair, but I use a folding, nylon netted, low style chair for turkey hunting.
It has 4 collapsible legs with a strap for carrying. It sits about 3-4" above the ground, keeps your fanny dry, and is great for setting up against a big tree or stump.

Captschar, I did pick up one of these last spring to potentially pack in on some backcountry hunts.  I used is a few times and found it to be pretty sturdy, comfortable, and functional.  I think they only weigh around a few pounds and if you dig around, you can find one for a bit under 40 bones.  Just an option for ya buddy if you want to throw a chair in, or, strap it to your pack.  I have a few of the tri-pod type stools also that weigh a bit less, but, if you're talking sitting in something and shooting off sticks, a four legger may be better for that purpose.

Great tips guys.  The area I'm hunting has a ton of swampy uneven terrain and I'm considering strapping a camp chair to my pack to make things more livable.  I'll check out all these options, thanks!

I take a small pad and it's always been enough.  I don't need much comfort, I usually am fighting a nap the whole time unless there are animals in view.

not for coyote hunting but very similar in that I used to pack around one of those little stadium chairs when whitetail hunting. When I was younger, I couldn't sit for long so I would hike in, sit for 15-30 minutes and move on. The stadium chairs were great because they were light, kept you butt dry and didn't need level ground to be comfortable

Why not just a turkey vest with a seat pad ? I had one that the seat would drop down, you would lean forward a bit and snap a strap on both sides, lean back and it was like sitting in a recliner.

I've been looking at those too, considering trading in a pack for one of those turkey vest-pack combos.  The only thing that makes me hesitate is that I'm cheap.

The vest I got was cheap and on sale to boot. Cant remember the name now as I haven't used it in a while. Carried every thing I needed but I should have got a lg instead of an xl thinking of extra clothing. While kicking back, your knees automatically kicked up a bit keeping your legs out of the wet crap.

Back when i rifle hunted primarily I dropped a kids folding camp chair into my pack for long sits. It was great! I could set it up nearly anywhere, kept me dry and comfortable for long sits. Also low enough it allowed me to brace both elbows on my knees for shooting when I wasn’t able to set up near a tree or log.

Look for used ones. I found one for $25 and I use the pad by itself during deer, and keep it snapped into the vest for turkey. Works great.

A little something I did on Predatormasters.

 My critique on hunting chairs/seats.

Left to right. These have been relegated to duck hunting.

Left
This chair works pretty good in mud as the cross bars give it some float, no back support so I use it where I can lean back against a log, not used very much any more , I save it for a companion that doesn't have a seat.

Center
Very comfortable, it fits in the bottom of my layout boat for long hours in the marsh, I also use it on low grass banks when duck hunting in a  gillie suit.  Hard to get in and out of and hard to swing on birds/coyotes that aren't in a dedicated shooting zone.

Right
Great seat I use it hunting in brush blinds and thicker cover, easy to move/turn for unexpected shots and easy to get in and out of, I used it a lot coyote hunting in cover that is tall enough to hide me.

LtoR these are my goto predator hunting chairs/seats now

Left
This little tripod stool has taken the place of the three legged chair, it is lighter to carry, quicker to set up and for predator stands I don't need the comfort of a back rest, it gets used where ever  cover is high enough .  It gives me a better view in thicker cover also.

Center
This little folding seat is great in hillier country, just high enough to get in and out of easily, only draw back is the rounded legs the get to be like sled runners in icy/crusty condition.  I tried one with legs but they sunk into soft dirt too much.

Right
Just a Styrofoam bead filled pad, I use it in snow and ice in hillier country, it is warm and dry on the butt, light to carry and doesn't slide on snow and ice as it is cloth backed.

Hope this gives you some ideas.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Good tip on the low chair to get your knees into play.

What is that little low square one that's great in hillier country?  That's thing looks the business.

it is a turkey seat, that I picked up over the years, it has a back like a stadium seat but I leave it down for the insulation on my butt and it takes too much time to set up.

I don’t know what kind of black magic you’ve got, but your gear and your thinking makes a LOT of sense to me.
