I'm gonna try to squeeze in a morning hunt on opening day before work for eastern.  The following weekend I'll be over in Spokane going after some Merriams.  Good luck to y'all!

I'll shoot a few in May over here in Idaho. Will give me something to do.

P.S. Don't bother asking where I hunt unless I've chatted with you a bunch in the past.

I'm getting tired of pm's asking for handouts.

Maybe scroll on if you don't like what I post. Here's a hint, put me on the ignore list. Would of taken less effort for you to do that then decide to comment.

Are you seriously getting a lot of requests for tips on Idaho turkey? I find that hard to believe.

The success rate is a lot higher and it's not a secret as to where they are. You can pretty much just point someone to a Idaho F&G website.

Ok lets get it back on track please.  Good luck to all going out.  I need to get out to finally shoot and sight in my crossbow.

When the honey do list allows I’ll be chasing Westside phantoms again. So I can do more of this   :bash:

I will be out in Colville the 14th-16th scouting for the May trip I will be taking out there but I might end up shooting a Tom on the 15th because my 4 year old really wants to see daddy get a turkey.

Ah the burden of cool dadhood. I finally brought home the bacon so to speak this past fall and showed my son how to clean a wild turkey. He really want to use Grandpa's crossbow to shoot a turkey this coming fall. I'm tempted to take the crossbow to the NE with me so he isn't the first to take a turkey with it. Kid can't remember what he did in school today but remembers all the victories he holds over me.
