“The thing that gets in the way of wolf recovery, wolf restoration is the mythical wolf. A lot of people will have you believe the gray wolf has this almost supernatural ability to exercise its predatory will and whim, and everywhere they go they have leave waste and desolation as these wanton killing machines. Nothing could be further from the truth,” said Phillips. “We know a lot about gray wolves. And once Coloradans are ready to embrace an honest portrayal of the wolf, they will conclude that coexisting with it is a rather straightforward affair.”

The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he doesn't exist.

They won’t get to decline. The wolves are going to be shoved down their throat too. There’s way too much special interest money involved to keep it from happening. Funny thing too is that pretty much all the money is coming from outside Colorado.  Citizens choices in our country are being bought up one by one.  People need to figure that out and take a stand, in force.  Too bad we can’t match money for money and take the special interest eco groups to the mat in court.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

 :yeah:

Reports on FB five years ago of wolf sightings etc. in Colorado.

For several years folks in the Methow reported wolves to WDFW only to be ignored, until they were forced to confirm a pack that was hanging out at a school buss stop.

The "people" who the wolves will have the most impact on, have never had, and will never have any say in the matter. Release and discover!
