Bangin out Koke rigs. Since they sell for $5 to $8 each, Last fall I bought the stuff online for pennies on the dollar and started making my own Its 3am and my hands hurt and I'm getting sleepy

Be careful with that KC it's addicting!  I got into it several years ago just retying the store bought rigs.  Saving $$ is great and catching fish on stuff you tied is awesome as well.  Enjoy

yes bead then clevis  otherwise the clevis pushes against the squid and doesn't turn

i just used cabelas or ebay for clevices,  and spoons and cheapest on ebay  for kokanee you want the smallest size or close to.
