Duck Associations
« on: May 28, 2019, 04:49:58 PM »
Hey Team,

Just curious if anyone is active in Duck groups, and if so, which one would be great to Join.
Washington Waterfowl Association seems like an obvious answer, but I found on their web page that the Spokane Chapter is vacant. Maybe that means I can be President!  :)

Perhaps Ducks Unlimited, or Delta Waterfowl? I'm doing my Google research tonight, but any advice is surely appreciated. Thanks all!

now is a great time to join the WWA Asmith sent me a message a while back as well... There are some inactive members with no one to lead them. I talked to my NW chapter chair Rick and the The state President and he told me to convey that if a small group wanted to reinvigorate it He would come on over and setup and run your first meeting and show you all the ropes. You 2 should get together and call Billieu and Holt!

Chairperson Rick Billieu    (360) 653-8571

President Rick Holt   360-853-3742

WWA is the way to go, they have boots on the ground where you hunt and are 100% tied into hunter's concerns.  The nationwide orgs are fine in some ways, but they don't have the same insight and sometimes end up on the wrong side of issues that have huge impacts to WA hunters.

Becoming the core means you get to steer the chapter where you want.

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update: I've spoken with Rick Holt (via email) and he has blessed off on reviving the Spokane chapter. I'm now going to get with a few area chapters and their Chairs so I can get a sense of what we need to get up-and-running. A few of you PM'd me about jumping on board too, so I'll reach out to you soon with more details.

The new Facebook page for WWA-Spokane is up and running! The link is on my bio to the left. If you wouldn't mind liking the page to support our growth I'd sure appreciate it!

Right wing shooter, I aim for the left!!!

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

You can!!!! The plan is for Linxx77 and Me being active Chair and Treasure but next year do elections. In the meantime join WWA as a member and join the facebook page. We have some great ideas already about events for this year but always looking for insight from members in our region. With the area being so large we are hoping to get a lot of new members.

I'll be updating the official WWA page this week to show we are back in business. Would love your support! We do have a plan to ensure all Counties in our chapter get fair representation and support.
