With the dryer than usual spring and warm temps I'm expecting an awesome game bird hatch this year. Lets share some of sightings with each other!

Saw my first batch last week..Earliest I've seen any chicks. Only 5 babies with mamma

I seen a hen on May 26 with a batch of little ones looked like a day old, yesterday on my property a Doe with 2 new born fawns still wet

This morning between the Evergreen and Sullivan i90 exits east bound a hatch of turkeys out following mom, my guess is a week- 10 days old.

I saw a dozen or so poults today way up at the headwaters of E branch LeClerc Creek today (~5k ft??).  They were pretty young.
