Has anyone had any expierence with the schnees beartooth 2? Non insulated.... looking to get a new pair of boots this year!

Yes. I love them. I wear them for work (forester) on the east side where corks aren't necessary, and have hunted in them from 15 degrees in a foot of snow in late November to 100 degrees in August bear hunting. Keep them greased and you'll be in love. I switched the insoles out for Super Feet Green and that has made them even better. You won't be disappointed.

These will be my go to for a couple more sets for sure. I’ve had them since last August, somewhere between 400-700 miles through every kind of terrain WA has. I wear them to the office quite a bit too since they’re so comfy. Short break in too. Well worth your time.

Do you have the beartooths?

Yep. Non insulated. Next year I’ll probably pick up a pair of the 200g insulated ones for late season deer and predator hunting. But the uninsulated ones will cover you for a very wide range of different temps and conditions.

I’ve got the Timberlines, low-T beartooths.  They’re really well made, great lacing system, supportive, quiet, great grip, very comfortable (11W), and only took 20-30 miles to break in to where I stopped noticing them. 

The Beartooths are supposed to be essentially the same but stiffer and tougher, I can do just about anything with the Timberlines, so I’d imagine the Beartooths must be truly all-terrain wonder boots.

You won’t be sorry you got them.

Fingers are crossed, had a pair of mindel’s for the past 3 years and every time I hunted I wanted to shoot my feet. Made a great Idaho hunt last year *censored*ty with those boots!

Meindl's fit my feet like a glove, but I can't keep them waterproof for longer than a year.

Mine were good on the first hunt that’s it, was in eastern Montana in November, got snow feet were dry... (becomes the sweat which sucks because my feet sweat bad I have no idea why) then after that hunt 10 days they leaked ever since.

I will be getting a pair here in a few months! Waiting to pull the trigger on my new pack! Then it will be the boots!

I have both the Timberline and the Beartooth. Both great boots! I find my self grabbing the Timberline most the time.

Have the new Beartooth II's and a pair of Granite's. Beartooth's are relatively new, only about 50 miles on them. Zero complaints about Schnees products. Super rugged, and fit my feet extremely well. All these boots being talked about are manufactured by an Alpine boot specialist that is something like 300yrs old out of Italy. So far the SympaTex waterproof layer breathes extremely well and keeps the feet dry.

I have heard great things about the timberline's as well. Do you get into the alpine often or do a lot of late season stuff? If not, they may be worth a look.

Just got a pair of the beartooth 2’s yesterday. They are a super nice design. The lacing makes a lot of sense and is solid once they lace up. I’m not sure if the insoles are right for me  I’ll probably get after market insoles. Any reccomendations?
