So awesome seeing Dads and Moms getting the littles outdoors and into the passion! Soak it up man , best stuff on earth.

Awesome post.  We did a similar trip with a stop in Kingston and the family defiantly gave a thumbs up to the ice cream stop, made the trip much more pleasant.

@Stein your post about that is what made me think about doing it. Was definitely a hit and will be in the future repertoire.

Ran up to Lake Cassidy tonight with the boy for a couple hours. Kept it simple, lots of snacks, lots of worms, lots of bobbers bobbing. We caught a bunch of little bluegill and couple nice ones. He was an ace at seeing the bite by the end of the night. I let him hold the rod and feel the wiggle and pull for a while and he seemed to enjoy that too. Watched lots of ducks and blue herons, and one muskrat. Pretty sure he was more excited about that than anything else. All in all, another successful trip.
