Big Salmon posted open dates 27th & 29th. I went last Saturday and there was nobody there. Drove up and launched.

What a big difference buying your hali punch card vs just getting it along with your license seems to be making. If I wasn't stocked up on hali I'd be taking advantage of this.

That and the fact not many are being caught in some places.  The migration is changing and with our dates it isn’t a high probability fishery, especially inside.

It’s the 4 fish limit. I’m guessing a lot have limited out already. I chose to wait for nicer weather. Seems to be paying off. Don’t have to deal with the crowd the last few weekends.

Biggest reason I see is the weather. Half the days have been sporty so a lot of guys aren't running on the ocean like years past. From what I know the only busy weekend was the opener. All the other days have been ghost towns. Its supposed to blow today and a little on Sat so I wouldn't be surprised if we didnt get one more mid week day in July.

Can they transfer quota from one marine area to another?

It's been great, what ever the reason.
