It’s a bit nose heavy in this stock.  I may have to build a Bi-Pod extension if I keep this stock.  It’s not horrible but could use some red neck engineering lol

Barrel is almost 10 lbs with the break. I’ll have to weigh it once I get it together

I’m guessing you’ll be around 21lbs.

Ya that sounds about right and I’m ok with that.  This won’t be anything other than a long range rig and the Occasional rogue coyote.

I kinda figured this beast wouldn’t be a hunting gun, I mean what are you going to shoot T-Rex?  I‘ve been looking at the bipods that some of these extreme long range shooters are using with their heavy guns.

What are you thinking for extending your bipod over the forend? Picatiny rail?

Do you already have a 416 Barrett and a .50BMG Ackley improved? Ackley should improve the 50bmg

Lots of room between this and the big 50. Suprised more hasn't been done in the world of wildcats to fill this gap.

I’ve been thinking I’d like a 416 barret for my next build.  But by then I may change my mind. But for now stock and optics are my next upgrades.

That little Win Mag looks cute compared to the 375. :chuckle:

I've been thinking hard about a 416 Barret but I don't like the massive BMG actions. I had a reamer drawn up for a 458 off of the Barret case and I was very close to building it but found a good deal on a CheyTac action and got distracted. A 458 would give you more powder options, but fewer bullet choices.
