Another coyote skull cleaned up

This coyote skull isn't perhaps as interesting as the first one I shared with you.  This is a 27# male, and obviously a younger critter.



Taken together, they look like:





I'll be sending the pelts off to Moy's directly.

I've learned to exercise more care in the process.  The first skull had teeth that were firmly anchored in the jaw (those that weren't missing at harvest).  I lost one tooth, had to super-glue in many others on this younger skull.  Also, the jaw halves of this animal came apart in the water, where the earlier (older) skull remained together, apparently solidly.

Be careful before you pour out the water!
