idaho bulls
« on: October 27, 2007, 08:06:36 AM »
These are the bulls we took in Idaho this year.  My partners Bull was an awesome hunt. He won first shot on a bet (think he cheated), and took the 6pt on the fifth day.  We did not see the quality of bulls that we did the last time we were in there.  They made alot of changes to the road closures since 2001 and we failed to research that fact. We just assumed that it was the same as last time. It looks like they are going to turn it into a horseback area, as its a couple miles just to get out of the sage and on the mountain.  But awesome country and plenty of elk. I took my 5x5 on the 6th day after we passed him up on the second.  After we couldn't find any bigger bulls I decided i needed to be in Montana looking for sheep.

John, Great Bulls!  Looks like a fun hunt.  Was this a controlled hunt or general?  Also are you hunting sheep in MT? If so good luck and make sure topost some pics.

Thanks for the pics.  Thats the only time "work" isn't a four letter word.  Good luck in Montana.
