I don't think they bought the stores. They were taken back from default on money owed them.

They never "owned" them per say, it really just ended up being used as a form of collateral for the money they owed. I talked to the gentlemen at the guns counter last weekend for a good hour about this. We are rather stumped on the fact that either store is having troubles really, since Osama took office anything "Black" has flown off the shelves. There is such a shortage in ammo and reloading supplies due to the *censored* never even making it to the shelves, when it comes in guy's are pulling it right off the pallet.
I was told in a couple weeks they should have more stuff showing up.
