Sportsmans Warehouse
« on: March 27, 2009, 09:16:41 PM »
Not sure if anyone has posted yet but about 16 Sportsmans Warehouse's have been Sold to a major Canadian Company.  :bash: I forget the name but its like 3 letters or something like that.  Anyways, If anyone has a gift card still from them, you better go use it by the 30th or 31st cause it wont be any good after that, (at least for the one in Mt. Vernon, I cant speak for the rest but they're probably the same too)  Just a heads up guys.

I stopped by on Thursday at the Federal Way store and they said the new stock should be coming in a few weeks.  I would like it sooner...

I don't think they bought the stores. They were taken back from default on money owed them.

They took the stores necessary to compensate for the loan they gave to Sportsmans Warehouse.  They never "owned" them per say, it really just ended up being used as a form of collateral for the money they owed.

I talked to the gentlemen at the guns counter last weekend for a good hour about this.  We are rather stumped on the fact that either store is having troubles really, since Osama took office anything "Black" has flown off the shelves.  There is such a shortage in ammo and reloading supplies due to the *censored* never even making it to the shelves, when it comes in guy's are pulling it right off the pallet.

They are.  I know some of the management staff and they are beginning to get product in and establish ordering channels for other stuff.
