shot one Saturday that I could not find. Spent the night on the mountain looking for him and next morning. Only guess is it crawled in one of the 1000’s of caves and died.

Nice bear. Looks like he was eating a cowpie or horse chips! How do you cook the meat by the way?

I think those are just pine needles stuck in his mouth/nose from me dragging him. I cook it in a variety of ways; meatloaf, crock pot stew,  tacos,  burgers,  etc. I am getting it butchered into half sausage and half ground meat.
