WSU breaks ground on new $1.2 million Elk hoof disease research facility on campus.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Well I always said I wanted to go back and finish! Would love to go work on that program,  although I would think it would be more of a wildlife biology program,  instead of veterinary medicine.

Thank goodness for WSU, the elk would go extinct before Olympia or UW got around to caring.  For whatever reason, elk are not on the cool animal list.

You can't see your soul in an elk's eyes like you can with wolves. All they have going for them is those pointy horn things on their heads. Not enough to hang with the cool meat eating animals.

That is great.  Sad it takes that much money and time to figure out chemicals are the cause.   Spray some more. :bash:
