Hi guys, what kind of berry is this? Do bears eat it? Thanks in advance.

Looks like mountain ash berry, and something has been in them already bears/birds.

Definitely rose hips and bears eat them. Deer, elk and coyotes also feed on them.

Rose hips have one of the highest concentrations of vitamin C in nature.  I like them enough to usually eat a few when I run across a good bush.  The are quite bland, slightly sweet.  Some have much more edible portions than others, and I just nibble the flesh off of the center clump of seeds.
