Does Idabooner shoot or not
« on: October 28, 2007, 01:30:34 AM »
Ultimately he has the say on what he wants.  This buck is maxed out and isn't getting any bigger.  I would be very tempted to put him down as what a trophy, and what a cape.  Thoughts???  The boys on MM weren't all that impressed.  I sure was.

Yep, he is a big three.  He might even hit that 300 pound mark.  ;)
Soooooo are you going to be available at all this fall if I seal this deal early and manage to make the trip back to Yak, and don't end up in Idaho.

Touch and go I guess.   I'll be in that secret spot I told you about.  Its a little far for the average day trips.  If I leave at 2 in the morning, and get back at 10 at night.  Thats a long and expensive roadtrip.  If I am headed on one, I'll get your attention.  You guys and your babies.  I think Ridge is goingto stand me up too. :(

I posted this guy as its one of those borderline bucks.  Damn would be hard to turn down, but if you know you might have a chance at a bigger one.  For our fair state though.  HOLY!

If thats a Wa. buck and I saw him, I'd drop him. The guys over at MM don't realize the 180+ bucks are a little harder to come by around here. also one of the coolest bucks I have seen was a 3X3. It was at a Mule Deer Foundation banquet, 40" wide  :o

By the time you boys decide if you want him, I'll be pulling his hide off. After scouting hard for two days and not finding any thing close I don't think I could turn him down.  :)

Given the information at hand, I say "yes". I voted no a couple hours ago though. :tung: :chuckle:

Being that he plans on hunting the lower moderate country I would let him shoot it, that buck is a brute for sure too bad no eyeguards he'd look better with them I think, but you can't be too picky.

I too like his style, "By the time you boys decide if you want him, I'll
be pulling his hide off"   Love it!

I'm going to have to duct tape his trigger finger back I can tell.  I'd be helping you peel on this one though.  He isn't kidding either, you should try to get field photos with this guy.
