Christensen Arms?

Been looking into the CA Ridgeline - reviews are about a 50/50 split. Anybody on here have any first hand experience with CA?

I’ve got a Ridgeline in 6.5 PRC and I love it!  Shoots very well with factory eld ammo.

It just made its maiden voyage to Western Wyoming and pounded a great buck @ 620 yards.

I have a Ridgeline in 300 WM, great gun, had minor issue with action screws but CA took care of it right away. Just bought a Ridgeline in 6.5 PRC, taking it to Montana for antelope in a few weeks.

I've yet to shoot one but my coworker bought one in 300WM last year. Its lost on me what the issue was but if I remember right it was something with the extractor. Gun shot good though. CA fixed the issue and he is back up and running.

Have had 3, finally went to Cooper and no regrets. Accuracy never met expectations after using their recipes even.... Cooper very easy to obtain accuracy with multiple loads.

I had one shot very well the little bit I shot it. I tried to be ok with the strait stock but ended up not liking it. I didn't want to spend 500 on a replacement from them. So I sold it to a member on here.

I have a ELR 300 winny and its a great gun.

I looked....for less money you can get an off the rack gun, soend more on glass and do better. For more money you can get an actual custom gun that will perform better than 99% of us that pull the trigger.

I have one along with 2 of my friends. All shooters. Kinda picky on factory ammo but after handloading I can shoot under an inch at 300 with it. Triggers amazing, smooth cycling action. Only drawback is the standard sporter stock with no cheek comb. But that’s pretty common. So I may replace that at some point. But I’ve owned it for about 4 years and couldn’t be happier. I know they had some quality control issues their first couple years but from what I’ve read they’ve worked all that out with more in-house manufacturing. They’re also very responsive with customer service.

I had a young woman show up to one of my long range classes with one chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.

Once she had the fundamentals of marksmanship under control, she was able to crush all the targets at will out to 1,000 with factory ammo.

I have a Ridgeline in 6.5 Creedmoor. It’s a great shooting gun. Found a load with 140 Ballistic tips right off the bat and is easily sub moa to 500. Which is as far as I have taken it so far.

That said...their QC has a bit of a history of being hit or miss. Buying a rifle at that price point and only getting 3" groups or feeding problems isn't acceptable.

I hope you end up with a good one!

Got one in .28 nosler.  Shoots sub .75 with factory hornady precision.  And just over .5 with handloads.
