Getting smell out of camo
«
on:

Is there a best way to get the blood smell out of camo? I just returned from a trip from Wyoming and noticed my gear is getting pretty ripe. I have always just washed it with scent away products but tried to wash my stuff but it seemed not to work at all.

I would wash my stuff by hand, not in a washing machine, in baking soda, then let it sit in it for a couple hours. Rinse twice, hang in the sun to dry. Worked for me.

I gave up years ago using scent away stuff and have just been using regular laundry detergent, and rinse twice. Baking soda would be a more scent free option.

I use febreze additive to get the tuna smell out of my clothes and it does great at that. Not sure you want your hunting clothes smelling all pretty, but it does get the stank out.

Since I just rifle hunt, I have always just washed my camos with normal detergent. Never had an issue with bad smell from blood either, unless I was in the woods for a long time.

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.
