Well got a bunch of stuff stripped out of it last night, enough to be able to take it out for a test run on the lake today. Pretty thrilled with the way it runs, motor is pretty quiet for a 2 stroke which is always a plus. Jumps out of the hole and on step in no time and cruises at a comfortable rpm to about 20-25 mph. Got it back home and started in on stripping more outdated stuff off of it, sonar from the 80’s, broken compass, CB from the 80’s along with antennas and a ton of wiring. New electronics will be next in a week or 2 hopefully. The amount of holes in this thing makes me realize more and more that some people just shouldn’t do things themselves! No adhesive or silicone, all a mix of stainless and a few rusted zinc plated screws.
