BBQ Pork Sandwich, Germany style

Looking through a few recipies I put together my own little dish today.
Started last night with a bowl of odds and ends of wild boar meat that couldnt require their own packages.
The meat chunks veried from golf ball sized to fist sized.
Placed in glass bowl with
1-2table spoons of brown sugar
Honey BBQ sauce
1 table spoon of fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tsp of ground smoked sea salt
1/2 cup of water to liquify into marinade
let sit over night
Placed on Grill with low-medium heat over drip pan to slow heat and catch sticky stuff. Cook for 3+ hours while adding coal and spraying with mixture of Jim Beam/apple juice every 40-45 minutes until tender.
Remove from grill while neighbors look over fence with mouths watering(germans) and pull apart on cutting board with a fork. Place pulled pieces into crockpot with with 1 bottle of Sweet Baby Rays Sweet and Spicy BBQ sauce and cook on low while adding water until desired super soft sticky texture is achieved.
Serve on toasted Brochen with desired fixins and german beer to pleasantly surprised wife with german beer.
.....ok so the only part that was german was the place and the beer lol

I like the sound of this - if beer and location where you only tru German ingredients. - well then I cook German style all the time - minus the location.

Ah.....German Brochen. Got hooked on those when my Dad was stationed in Germany in the early 60's. Lived in Sweinfurt and went to the American H.S. in Wurzburg.
Best High School experience ever...4 marks to the dollar.....legal drinking age was 16.....and oh the food. If you had 4 or 5 bucks in your pocket you could eat, drink and be merry...
