« on: October 23, 2019, 08:12:08 PM »
My CVA Accura is hitting 4 inches to the right at a 100 yards it looks like my front blade sight is bent to the left is that the cause ? Neither the front or back sights are adjustable.

The rear sight is the one that should be adjustable.  pix I have seen look similar to a Williams slider sight

If the front is bent left then that’s the reason why you are shooting right. If you have a Williams ghost ring then it is adjustable. Put a new front sight on and you’ll be good.

Yes, look at the top and you'll see a screw. Loosen it and you can move the sight to the left or right.

But if your front sight is bent or damaged then buy a new one, they're only $20.

I will also chime in with my recommendation of the Eabco peeprib (https://www.eabco.net/PeepRib-Peep-Sights-for-CVA-Optima-Kodiak-Wolf-and-Accura_p_13910.html). It is a rail and rear sight built in one, so you can put a scope in it if you ever want to and also your rear peep sight further back (right past the end of the breech) so it is more accurate (more space between rear and front sights). You can take off the peep sight that comes with it and put the ghost ring onto it, that's what I did.

+1 on the peeprib.  I bought one for my dad this year.  It works great.
