On recount, I come up with 154” as well. The whiskey must have added an extra digit in the tens column.

He’s got a couple faults that keep him out of that super buck category.....

Very weak mass.  Though not a big percentage of score there are 8 measurements whereas if he had even one inch each more and that wouldn’t even be that big in the mass dept....  Cowabunga!

Crappy inside spread.   Unless I’m misjudging his mains, they are average .  They turn in really fast, it just shorts him.   Then those eyeguards.  Again, 4-6 inches each yowzhers.
Its just what separates him.   Great buck.   I’d be thrilled spitless, but......

I have no experience with white tails. Would you guys guess his mains are 23-25 or not that good? What about mass? 28-30?

I think you’re right in the ball park. I really think that buck would surprise some guys what it’d end up scoring even though it’s got weak brows.

Here's a similar one I killed a while back for reference.  Weak eye guards, weak spread, good tine length...169 4/8 (unofficial but I'd bet the farm it's within an inch or 2)

Yours has an extra point on each side and appears to have slightly more mass.

I'd go 150-160 on this one.

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I have no idea what he'd score but if he isn't big enough for you I'd gladly take him  :IBCOOL:
