Its do to the simple folks like me that think and apply simple physics versus magazine article formulas. The harder it is to pull, the heavier the projectile it will wing at a fast speed. If it does it accurately, then perf.
As far as kinetic energy goes. The Bull I shot this past season I put the last arrow through both shoulder blades at 10 yards. The butcher was quite impressed when he saw that.(He is a bow hunter) I have to say that I was a bit surprised myself that it plowed through both shoulder blades. That is what I am after by pulling all the poundage. It seems to work.
