Ya'll know I aint got no hard feelings, it's easy to talk tough over a keepboard! lol  The worst part about these hunts was in Colorado we were up at 10,500' so it's a little different from Wenatchee!  There's just no getting used to altitude like that... lol my 25 year old bro hiked my butt off though while we were there!

yeah bud...i might as well be dirt. after the year of nothing-doing i've had, wenatchee will kick my ass...i can't imagine what 10,500' in CO. would have done. i can't wait to get my butt kicked in the swakane next month. wish i was hunting it, but not, just tagging along.

You guys are great... haha thanks for the compliments I am real happy with both animals, although I would've liked to have seen better quality deer in Colorado than I did...  We hunted hard and saw a ton of bucks and a lot of deer, but none of the big boys we were hoping for so the buck was a good buck for the year...

No worries on keeping to the roads Jackelope, I'll be sure to push some down for ya!  ;)

Michael, Where in Co. were you? The elevation sure  takes the fight out of me! I have been over there 3 times and hunted 4 seasons. That looks like the same type of terrain we hunt. Good pics and congrats on the critters.

Thorny a$$, this whole fall has been my "senior trip" and my last hurrah before I head to the Army this Spring.  My work for Icicle Outfitters lasted only through the end of the highhunt and it was understood when I took the job that I have pretty much all of October off...  So right now, i'm not unemployed but just not working.  Right now I'm preparing to guide a trip up the Entiat for the late rifle season, the guy is coming down on the 6th and hunting through the 18th if need be.  After that I'll most likely be moving to Ellensburg (where I'm at right now visiting my sister and looking for jobs) to work until January until Winter Quarter starts and I can finish my AA degree, then in the Spring it's off to the Army for 3 years so this is my last fall hunting and I wanted to make it a good one!

Actionshooter, we hunted in Eagle County.  That's all I can say.  And yes the elevation sucks!  But it sure is nice to come home and feel how thick the air feels!
