Sprague lake had ice on the whole lake yesterday as we traveled back n forth from Spokane for my families Thanksgiving.

Anybody fish Rock lake? I remember fishing there a couple of times in the late 90's in my 14 ft boat and catching some nice trout. I also remember being concerned if the wind came up the boat would get swamped. Boat launch didnt thrill me either. I might try and hit Rock this month sometime after the late archery is done.

i havent fished rock for a few years, but by far my favoricte lake to fish along with roosevelt.  rock usually swallows a person or two every year, but the trout and those browns are good, cold deep lake and great earing fish, the bass are not bad either.

+1 on Roosevelt. The area on the shore by Two Rivers has always been good for trout and walleye from a boat or from shore.

whats the walleye setup from shore, I assume the trout setup is the weight with an 18 inch leader with a  nightcrawler and floating power egg?, stay on fort Spokane side or cross the bridge to two rivers, or anywhere in the general area?

Have any of the lakes by Spokane frozen over? I'm looking into doing some ice fishing, but can't find any reports on ice thickness. Any suggestions?

Most of our lakes are currently open water, not even ice building at this point.  It has been way too warm.  Cold weather next week should change that in a hurry.

By the end of next week winter lakes should have 4" on them.  Single digit lows are coming on the back side of the Friday/Sat storm
