BIG BOY

Wackmaster and I set out this morning on a mission to try and find the bone from one of the Bulls we've watched now for 4 yrs. and collected his sheds. Could not ask for better weather today, sunny and 50+ degrees/no ticks = awesome. We walked about 15 min. before finding the first one, then we new the second one/match had to be found. We walked the canyon up for about a 1/2 hr. then turned and went back above where we found it. Nothing. Walked back to the first one and walked back down the hill and then back again to see we had both walked past it... A very satisfying thing to have both sides. Through one pic in of our pack mule at the bottom.

Yeah, I always seem to be able to find deer sheds, but have never found an elk shed. I have found a spike elk skull, but that's the closest I have gotten to finding an elk shed.
